Campus Activities Board aka CAB

As it can be assumed from their name, the Campus Activities Board, provides a lot of “extras” for students and faculty at the University of Maine. Comprised of volunteer students, this group organizes all sorts of activities practically every night of the week and most importantly, they are at no cost to anyone who wishes to participate. All of the activities are simply for students to relax, have fun, and enjoy their friends’ company. Their main goal is to keep everything safe, fun, and even a bit educational. CAB provides activities such as movie nights, karaoke, small-scale concerts, Bingo, and many others. They call Fridays their Maine Attraction night because they provide their best entertainment to kick off the weekend. Recent acts have included comedians, hypnotists, chainsaw jugglers, a carnival night, bands, semi-formals, and even a drive-in movie! This group gets very creative. There is always something new and exciting to participate in at the University of Maine because of CAB.
